brother says he has the record...60 mph...in a ‘55 Ford, on gravel, before the road was paved. But then my
brother says a lot of stuff).

6. You used to buy penny candy at Kirchoff’s.
7. You went to the ‘53 Drive-In before they started showing movies like “The Revenge of the 50 Foot Bosom”.
8. You know where Hillside School was.
9. You ever had a pizza at Imperiale’s.
10. You bought a pair of Levi’s at Schoppe’s (and Harry was sitting in the corner, trying to keep his cigar lit).
11. You went to see Santa Claus at the North Pole that they set up every year in the Triangle.
12. You dragged at least one of your parents into the Ben Franklin to show them what you wanted Santa to bring you.
13. Your dad ever sat you on the bar stool next to him at Berlin’s Tavern.
14. Or took you next door to Frank’s Steak House for a piece of Hazel’s home-made pie.
15. You know what the Cork and Bottle was.
16. You once had dinner at Uncle Andy’s Cow Palace.
17. You ever had to drag your old man outta Kelly’s Corner’s before your mom gave him the frying pan.
